They gave the ultimatum in protest against the attack on the National Citizen Party (NCP) rally in Gopalganj.
President of the association Rifat Rashid announced the ultimatum at a press conference held at Shahbagh intersection in the capital at 7:30 pm on Wednesday (July 16).
He said, “The July Declaration must be issued immediately. The entire police system must be reformed. A nationwide anti-Awami League campaign must be launched in Gopalganj and other parts of the country”.
Rifat Rashid warned, “The demands must be implemented within 24 hours. If the demand is not met, strict programs will be announced again.”
