Training aircraft crashed in Diabari

A training aircraft belonging to Bangladesh Air Force crashed in the Diabari area of Uttara in the capital on Monday (July 21) afternoon.

An F-7 BGI training aircraft of Bangladesh Airforce (BAF) took off at 1:06 pm and crashed in the Milestone College area of Uttara after some time.

Monirul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Turag Police Station, confirmed the aircraft crash. However, he could not provide details about the crash immediately.

The aircraft has crashed inside Milestone College, said Fire Service and Civil Defence duty officer Lima Khanam.

No casualties have been reported till filing this report.

A total of eight units of the Fire Service are working on the scene to bring the blaze under control. Bangladesh Army and Navy members also joined with the Fire Service.

The burnt injured are being taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) with the help of army.
