Chase and counter-chase at Secretariat: 85 taken to DMCH

Angry students entered the Secretariat and started vandalizing cars.

A chase and counter-chase took place between police and members of law enforcing agencies at the Secretariat. Later police charged them with batons to disperse. 

Earlier, angry students were staying outside gates for some time.

At least 85 persons have been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), sources said.
