July declaration to be obtained by August 5: Nahid 

National Citizen Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam has announced that the July declaration will be obtained from the interim government by August 5. 

He said, “NCP will move forward in demanding reforms, justice and a new constitution. In the meantime, various political parties are moving away from their party positions and working in favor of reforms. July charter and declaration will be obtained by August 5.”

He said this at a rally in Brahmanbaria town on Thursday (July 24) morning. 

They also held a meeting with the families of the martyrs and injured in the July mass uprising in Brahmanbaria. 

Later, the march started from the Zilla Parishad Road area of Brahmanbaria town around 11:30 am.

The march went round the main roads including TA Road, Mosque Road and Kumarshil Mor. 

Member secretary Akhtar Hossain, southern chief organizer Hasnat Abdullah, northern chief organizer Sarjis Alam, chief coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari, senior joint member secretary Dr. Tasnim Zara, Samantha Sharmin and other central leaders led the march.

In addition to NCP leaders and activists, people from various classes and professions participated in the march.
