42 patients at burn institute, 8 at ICU: Director

A total of 42 people have been admitted to National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery after being burned in the Bangladesh Air Force training plane crash on the Diabari campus of Milestone School and College in the capital's Uttara.
Of these, 8 patients have been kept at the ICU. The condition of 6 of them is critical. There is a plan to transfer two patients to the intermediate level as their physical condition has improved.
A total of 13 patients have been transferred to the cabin.
Nasir Uddin, director of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, disclosed this at a briefing on Thursday.
He said, “There is no need for any blood and skin for the burn victims at the moment.”
