BSF pushes 21 Rohingya people into Bangladesh 

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has pushed at least 21 Rohingya individuals into Bangladesh through Nakugaon border in Sherpur.

Of them, five male, five female and 11 children were pushed into Bangladesh in the early hours of Friday through Nakugaon border area in Sherpur. 

Receiving information about the push in, members of 39 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained them.

Lieutenant Colonel Mehedy Hasan, commanding officer of 39 BGB, said the identifications of the detainees were being investigated.

He said that the BGB members were on alert to prevent any illegal activities at the border area.
