Milestone tragedy: One more burn victim dies

Masuma, 38, an ayah (support staff) of Milestone School and College, succumbed to her injuries after battling for life for five days following devastating military training aircraft crash on the school premises.
She breathed her last at the ICU of National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (NIBPS) at about 10:15am on Saturday (July 26).
Residential Surgeon of the institute Dr Shawon Bin Rahman confirmed the death news of Masuma.
Masuma had been at the ICU with 90 per cent body parts burnt in the crash incident, Dr Shawon said.
With her, the total deaths from the aircraft crash rose to 35.
Earlier at about 9:10am, a 13-year-old student Zarif Farhan succumbed to his burn injuries at the ICU of the same hospital.
