4 expelled student leaders on 7-day remand

A court in Dhaka has granted a seven-day remand for four expelled student leaders in connection with an extortion case.
Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Ziadur Rahman passed the order on Sunday afternoon (July 27).
The accused are – Anti-Discrimination Student Movement’s Dhaka metropolitan convener Ibrahim Hossain Munna, member Md. Sakadaun Siam, and Sadman Sadab and central sports cell member Abdur Razzak Riyad.
Gulshan police station Inspector Mokhlesur Rahman produced the accused before the court seeking 10-day remand. Later, after the hearing, the court granted a seven-day remand.
