BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed has raised a question about the decision to open the UN Human Rights Commission office in Dhaka.
He said, “This interim government does not have the right to take such a policy decision. It was not fair to make an agreement on such an important issue without discussing it with the political parties”.
The BNP leader said this at a roundtable organized by Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh at Dhaka Reporters Unity on Monday (July 28) morning.
Hefazat-e-Islam Secretary General Sajedur Rahman, AB Party Chairman Mujibur Rahman Manju, Hefazat-e-Islam Nayeb Ameer Mahfuzul Haque, Mohiuddin Rabbani, Joint Secretary General Mamunul Haque, Sakhawat Hossain Razi, Assistant Secretary General Musa Bin Izhar and others were also present.
