AB Siddique followed from Hamid Fashion

Staff Correspondent, NARAYANGANJ, Apr 18: The kidnappers had followed Abu Bakar Siddique Litu’s car from his work place, Hamid Fashion in Narayanganj before his abduction.

 

AB Siddique came up with the statements when he was driven to the spot of the abduction on Friday after given his deposition over the abduction before the Narayanganj Judicial Magistrate Court quoting his driver as saying.

 

Abu Bakar Siddique, also the husband of Syeda Rizwana Hasan, the Chief Executive of Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association (Bela) at the time, told details to the journalists how he was abducted.

 

“The kidnappers had hit our car from behind and when the driver and I got down from the car to observe the car, whether it was damaged or not, the kidnappers pulled me into their car (kidnapper’s car) and tied me up wearing mask,” Continued AB Siddique.

 

On Wednesday noon, unknown miscreants kidnapped Abu Bakar Siddique Litu from Fatulla of Narayanganj.

 

The Kidnappers released AB Siddique on Thursday midnight after about 35 hours of his abduction.

 

Siddique, who was working for Hamid Fashion in Narayanganj, was alone in his Sedan when the miscreants intercepted his car in his way to Dhaka from Narayanganj.

 

Rizwana, a lawyer in profession, won Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2012.
