Shamim now PM’s press secretary

AKM Shamim Chowdhury, the Director General of Films and Publications department has been appointed as the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s press secretary.

 

The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification regarding the appointment, on Tuesday noon.

 

Before appointing AKM Shamim Chowdhury, Abul Kalam Azad was the press secretary of the Prime Minister.
