Woman police face challenges bravely: Speaker

Staff Correspondent: Admiring the contribution of woman police members to build up the nation speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury has said they are playing important roles outside the country too.

The speaker said this while delivering her speech as the chief guest of 2nd National Conference-2014 of ‘Bangladesh Woman Police Network (PBWN)’ at Mirpur Police Staff College on Wednesday morning.

She said, woman police members are paying important roles through the platform of PBWN. They are sending huge amount of remittance from abroad where they are serving under UN mission.

Home Secretary CQK Mostak Ahmed, IGP of police Hassan Mahmud Khandaker, Additional IGP of CID Moklasur Rahman were present, among others, while State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal was the special guest.
