DMP commissioner vows to ensure formalin free foodstuff

Staff Correspondent: Declaring war against formalin, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Benazir Ahmed expressed his firm determination to ensure non adulterated food for people.

The DMP boss made this announcement while addressing an anti-formalin campaign at Gulshan section two in capital on Thursday noon.

“The DMP is active against formalin. Food adulteration using formalin will be stopped. Our drive against formalin will continue,” Benazir said.

He also said that the culprits who are behind adulterating food using formalin will be tried under the new anti-formalin law after it gets parliament nod.
