Joynal Hazari gets bail

Feni Correspondent: A Noakhali court on Thursday granted bail to the former Awami League lawmaker of Feni-2 constituency Joynal Hazari following a case filed by Anti Corruption Commission (ACC).

 

Noakhali special tribunal Judge Shirin Kabita Aktar passed the order with Tk 40 thousand as bond after a hearing in this regard on the day.

 

Joynal Hazari appeared before the special tribunal at about 11.00 am.

 

Personal Prosecutor of Noakhali special Judge Court Advocate Kazi ABM Shahjahan Shahin was on behalf of the government while Advocate Shahjahan Shaju, Advocate AKM Shamsul Islam, Advocate Shamsuddin and Advocate Tarequl Islam Ripon were on behalf of the accused during the hearing.

 

Earlier a Noakhali court has issued an arrest warrant against the former Awami League lawmaker.
