Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khilgaon police station
Staff Correspondent: The acting Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khilgaon police station has been closed following his alleged negligence to perform his duty over the killing a youth in the capital’s Khilgaon area on Thursday night.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has withdrawn OC Sirajul Islam on Friday, DMP sources confirmed.
A youth named Saimun has been shot dead in front of his house near Shantipur School at around 8.30 pm on Thursday in the capital while his father Israil was also injured in the incident at that time.
Israil was undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) when the report was filed.
