Risingbd Desk: Most of the government heads of the SAARC member nations, who are in Kathmandu to participate in the 18th SAARC Summit, are scheduled to return on Thursday evening.

 

The leaders are returning as the SAARC Summit has concluded with the declaration of 36-point Kathmandu Declaration Letter,reports ekantipur.

 

According to a source at the Foreign Ministry of Nepal, Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Bhutan’s Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay will be returning tomorrow.

 

As of now, all the head of the state and government from the SAARC member nations have gathered at President Ram Baran Yadav’s official residence in Sheetal Niwas, Maharajgunj to attend a dinner banquet hosted by President Yadav.

 

Following the dinner, Indian PM Narendra Modi, Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif, Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa, and Afghanistan’s President Ashraf Ghani will be flying to their respective countries in a special plane.

 

It has been learnt that Sri Lankan President Rajapaksa will provide lift to Maldives President Abdulla Yameen until Sri Lanka. Prior to this, Yameen was scheduled to return Maldives today through a regular flight of Qatar Airways.
