Obama discussed Bangladesh issues with Modi

Risingbd Desk: US President Barack Obama and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the ongoing political situation in Bangladesh during the Obama`s recent visit to India.

 

Phil Reiner, Senior Director, South Asia Affairs at the National Security Council of the White House came up with the disclosure, in a press conference, in Washington.

 

Phil Reiner told reporters, “The two leaders (Obama and Modi) in New Delhi had talked about the situation prevailing in Bangladesh.”

 

“The situation in Bangladesh is a tense one obviously,” the press conference was also told.

 

US President Barack Obama visited India between January 25 and 27.
