The detainees who were allegedly involved in medical admission question paper leak incident
Staff Correspondent, Rangpur: The members of Rapid Acton Battalion have detained seven persons, including three doctors, from Rangpur district for their alleged involvement in leaking question papers of medical admission test.
RAB-13 Deputy Commander Maj Ashraf Ali disclosed about the detention at a press conference at his office in Rangpur on Tuesday afternoon.
He said the detainees are Dr Mostafizur Rahman Pavel, 33, medical officer of Rangpur Sadar Upazila Health Complex; Dr Zillur Hasan Rony, 33, assistant registrar of Rangpur Medical College Hospital, and Dr Shariful Islam Ontu, 25, assistant registrar of RMCH Surgery Department (OSD).
The four other arrested are the teachers of different coaching centres of the area. They are Primate Coaching Centre`s director Manjur Hossain, three teachers of `A-1` coaching centre Atiqur Rahman Adil, Jamil Uddin and Sazratul Yeakin.
The said RAB continues its affords to detain others involved in the question paper leak incident.
