Security beefed up at Dhaka airport

Staff Correspondent: Security has been tightened at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport as miscreants have threatened to carry out sabotage acts there.

 

The threat came after murders of two foreign nationals and bomb attack on Shia Muslim community’s Ashura observation.

Confirming the matter, Tanzina Akter, assistant commissioner (media) of Armed Police Battalion (APBn), said security at Dhaka airport has been beefed up as directives of police headquarters.
