3 pro-BNP councillors suspended

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: Three pro-BNP councillors of Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) have been temporarily suspended as police pressed charge sheets against them in sabotage cases.

The councillors are Hannan Sarker of ward no. 21, Sultan Ahmed Bhuiyan of ward no. 22 and Enayet Hossain of ward no. 25.

Confirming the matter, Mostafa Kamal Majumdar, chief executive officer of NCC, said local government department issued three separate gazette notifications in this regard on Sunday.
