Masranga TV presenter Nipa abducted

Staff Correspondent: Masranga TV presenter Sabina Nipa, 25, was allegedly abducted from in front of Arong in the capital`s Gulshan, family members claimed.

 

However, it could not be clearly known immediately who is behind the abduction.

 

Family members claimed that Nipa had quarrels with her husband for a long time. A case was also filed in this connection. Nipa was getting threats to withdraw the case for a few days. At one state, she on Tuesday filed a General Diary (GD) with Gulshan Police Station alleging the threats.

 

"Nipa was abducted from in front of Arong at Gulsahn while she was going to Lalmatia from Gulshan Police Station by a CNG auto-rickshaw around 9:00pm on Tuesday," family members added.

 

They claimed that Nipa made a phone call to her sister-in-law (wife of brother) while she heard altercations with some others.

 

Sirajul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Gulshan Police Station, said police have already started investigation into the incident.
