Besides various kind of programmes,   they have continued discussions with the National Board of Revenue (NBR).

Bangladesh Supermarket Owners Association (BSOA) has already placed several demands including removal of VAT discrimination and stopping harassment to NBR Chairman Md. Nojibur Rahman.

As part of their programmes, all the chain super shops remained closed on May 15 morning across the country in protest against harassments.

According to the association, super shop outlets including Agora, Meena Bazar, Shwapno, Prince Bazar, Carry Family, Shop&Safe, Almas etc remained closed on the day.
