Case filed over 7 militant killing in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A case has been filed with Joydebpur Police Station in connection with the killings of seven militants in Patartek area of Gazipur town on Saturday.
Khandaker Rezaul Hasan Reza, officer-in-charge (OC) of the police station filed the case under Arms Act on Sunday.
Meanwhile, autopsy of the militants killed has started at the morgue of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital in Gazipur.
Gazipur police super (SP) Mohammad Harun-Or-Rashid told reporters that the bodies of the militants killed were sent to the morgue of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital for autopsy on Saturday.
Pronoy Bhusan Das, resident physician of the hospital, said the autopsy has started on Sunday noon.
On Saturday noon, seven militants were killed in a drive of law enforcers in Patartek area of Gazipur town.
