Robbers loot gold in Bogra shop

Bogra Correspondent: Armed robbers looted 100 Bhori of gold ornaments from a jewellery shop in Bogra town on Saturday.

Witnesses said that exploding bombs, a gang of armed robbers numbering 6/7 entered into the shop at around 7:00am and looted the jewellery shop in Galapotti area at gunpoint.

Meanwhile, the robbers beat shop owner Golzar Rahman and fled the scene taking 100 Bhori of gold.

Confirming the matter, Bogra Sadar police station Inspector Aslam Ali said that the law enforcers detained a suspected robber from Noymail area with a microbus.
