BCL leader found dead in Satkhira

Satkhira Correspondent: Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Satkhira district unit assistant general secretary Emon Hossain (25) has been found dead.

 

Police recovered the dead body around 10.30am on Tuesday from a fish farm in Amtola Beel under Dhulihor union of Satkhira sadar upazila.

 

Emon was the son of Sheikh Liton Hasan in the town’s Sultanpur and a third year student of Khulna Commerce College.

 

Satkhira Sadar Thana OC Feroz Hossain Molla said being informed by locals, police recovered the dead body.

 

Police suspects that he was suffocated to death and thrown to the fish farm.

 

The dead body has been sent to Satkhira Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
