Tangail-4 by-polls Jan 31

Staff Correspondent: The Election Commission (EC) has fixed January 31 for voting in the Tangail-4 by-polls.

Election Commission Director (Public Relations) SM Asaduzzaman told this to journalists on Tuesday afternoon.

In September 2015, Latif resigned from Parliament after he lost his Cabinet berth and the party's membership following his anti-Hajj remarks.

The EC had scheduled Oct 28, 2015 to hold the election, but it was stayed after Latif's brother Kader Siddique moved the court over his nomination.
