Secretariat Correspondent: Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu has that the Election Commission has been formed after consultation with all political parties and it is pointless to raise questions about it.
The minister said while talking to the journalists at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
He said the commissioners were honest, capable and competent to dispense their responsibilities.
Inu said that the President had formed the Election Commission in line with the Constitution and BNP's reaction to it is irrational.
He hoped that all political parties would participate in the upcoming polls.
Asked if BNP could raise questions about the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) he said "The new CEC was a public servant. In the past, he had behaved, accordingly. Nobody should find fault with it.
