Bus kills youth in capital

Staff Correspondent: An youth was killed as a bus hit him while crossing road at Pallabi in the capital on Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Md Farid, 20, hailed from Faridpur, who used to live in a rented flat in the area.

Dadon Fakir, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pallai Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said a speedy bust hit Farid while he crossing road on Saturday night, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed around 4:00am on Sunday.
