Ekushey Book Fair ends today

Staff Correspondent: The month-long 'Amar Ekushey Grantha Mela' in the capital is going to end today (February 28).

Thousands of booklovers thronged the Bangla Academy and Suhrawardy Udyan in a frantic dash to buy their favourite books.

Book publisher and sellers opined that lot of book lovers will visit the fair venue to buy their favourite writer's book as the largest literary event in the country is going to end this evening.

People were seen moving from one stall to another at the fair in search of their favourite books. They spent a busy time with the stall attendants in choosing and buying the books.

Bangla Academy director general Prof Shamsuzzaman will provide opening speech in the closing ceremony session at 6:30pm.
