Question leak: Teacher among 8 remanded

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court granted the police three days to quiz eight suspects including a teacher on charges of leaking questions of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate SM Masud Jaman granted the remand on Thursday.

The accused are - Rafiqul Islam, a teacher of Kamalapur Sher-e-Bangla railway high school, his assistant Jahirul Islam alias Shuvo, Liton alias Akash, Rumon alias Mahir, Razib Ali, Ariful Islam alias Arif, Tariukuzzaman Himel alias Abir and Antar.

Police detained them on Wednesday night from the city.

Earlier, the court placed six others on four days remand for leaking questions on February 14.
