Another accused arrested in journo Shimul murder

Sirajganj Correspondent: Police have arrested another accused in journalist Abdul Hakim Shimul murder.

The arrestee was ascertained as Tufan, 35. He was arrested from Dargahparha of Shahjadpur municipality area, raising the toll to 13.

Monirul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC-investigation) of Shahjadpur Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said Tufan was identified through video footage grabbed during the incident.

He was being interrogated over the murder, he added.

Daily Samakal reporter Shimul was shot dead in a clash between groups at Shahjadpur on February 2.
