Attack on mobile court, Ansar member killed

Feni Correspondent:  An Ansar member has been killed in an attack by drug traders during an anti-narcotic drive.

Three people including UNO Sohel Rana were also injured in the incident that took place at Badarpur village under Phulgazi upazila of the district on Wednesday midnight.

The deceased was identified as Nousher Ali (40).

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Phulgazi Thana SM Morshed said a mobile court led by Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sohel Rana conducted a drive in the area. During the drive, some Indian drug peddlers, swooped on them and hit them. The drug peddlers also abducted Nousher Ali and hacked him to death. Later BSF recovered his dead body.
