Rana's bail stayed till May 8

Staff Correspondent: The Supreme Court (SC) has stayed the bail order granted to Tangail-3 MP Amanur Rahman Khan Rana till May 8.
Chamber Judge Justice Hasan Foyez Siddique passed the order following a petition by the state on Tuesday.
Attorney General Mahbubey Alam along with Deputy Attorney General Masud Hassan Chowdhury stood for the state in the hearing.
The AG said Chamber Judge Court extended the interim bail-term for the accused. The issue will be heard at regular bench on May 8.
Earlier on 16 April, Chamber Judge Court stayed Rana's interim bail granted by the High Court for three days.
The bullet-hit body of freedom fighter Faruk, also a district AL leader, was found on January 18, 2013. Later, a murder case was filed in this connection. Police found evidence of involvement of Rana and his three brothers in the murder.
