Noted reciter Kazi Arif on life support

Staff Correspondent: Noted reciter Kazi Arif has been kept on life support at a hospital in the New York of the United States.

He was undergone Coronary Artery bypass surgery to transplant valves in the heart at Mount Sinai St. Lukes hospital at Manhattan in the New York on Tuesday.

However, several media earlier published news of his death after surgery which is not yet confirmed by any reliable source officially.

Kazi Arif was born at Rajbari of Faridpur on October 31, 1951. He brought up in Chittagong. He completed his study and introduced with literature there.

Kazi Arif physically took part in the liberation war in 1971 at sector no. 1 under Major Rafiq.

After the independence, he started studies at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
