7kg gold seized at Shahjalal Airport

Staff Correspondent: A team of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department (CIID) has seized 60 gold bars, weighing around 7kgs, from a flight of US Airways at Shahjalal International Airport in the Dhaka on Monday afternoon.

The team seized the gold bars from under a sit cover of the flight. The gold bars, worth of TK three crore.

Assistant commissioner of Customs Intelligence, Saiful Islam confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
