PM visits Netrokona on Thursday

Netrokona Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to visit Netrokona district's Khaliajuri Upazila on Thursday to distribute relief goods among affected people.

District administration sources said that a helicopter carrying the premier will land at helipad of Sadar College field in the upazila at around 9:40am.

Later, she will visit flood-hit areas, distribute relief goods among affected people and will join a view exchange meeting during the tour.

Khaliajuri Upazila Awami League president Golam Kibria said it will be the very first visit of Sheikh Hasina in the upazila. 

Netrokona deputy commissioner (DC) Dr Mushfikur Rahman said that all types of preparations have been taken ahead of the Prime Minister's tour.
