Banani rape accused Nayeem Ashraf arrested

Staff Correspondent: Nayeem Ashraf, one of the prime accused of Banani rape case has been arrested from Tongipara area under Louhajang upazila of Munshiganj on Wednesday night.

A special team of detectives and forces from police headquarters conducted a drive in the area and arrested him around 8:40pm.

DMP deputy commissioner (media and public relations) Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.

Earlier, on May 11, two more suspected rapists have been arrested in connection with the case filed over raping two private university girls at a Banani hotel in the capital.
