Staff Correspondent: Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has said that there is no real beggar in the country.
The finance minister came up with the observation at a post-budget press conference at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the city on Friday afternoon.
He said, “There is no real beggar. Those who are now engaged in begging, they are not doing this for poverty, they are professional. For this perspective, there are many beggars in the country yet and it will take time to eliminate them”.
