3 workers die after fall from under-construction building

Staff Correspondent: Three construction workers died after falling from an under-construction building in the capital's Bailey road area on Tuesday noon.

The deceased were identified as Jahangir, 22, Joynal, 20 and Sayem, 22. All of them hailed from Gopalganj upazila of Sylhet district.

Confirming the matter to risingbd.com, Moshiur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Ramna Police Station, said the three workers were working at the 10th floor of a 13-storey under-construction building at Bailey road area in the capital. They fell from the under-construction building around 2:40pm, leaving them critically injured.

Later, the injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where duty doctors declared them dead, the OC said.
