BAJUS calls for indefinite strike from Jun 11

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS), a platform of jewellery shop owners, has called an indefinite strike from June 11 (Sunday).

In a press conference Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) called the strike on Wednesday.

Enamul Haque Khan Vice President of BAJUS said that the strike will continue until their demands are met.

The authority has to return the confiscated gold of Apan Jewellers within next 48 hours, BAJUS vice-president said.

Earlier on June 6, Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) chief Dr Moinul Khan said that there is also complaint against some jewellers over gold smuggling.
