Banani rape: Charge sheet against Shafat, 4 others

Staff Correspondent: Police have pressed charge sheet against five accused including Shafat Ahmed, son of Apan Jewelers owner, in the case filed for two university girls rape at Banani Rain Tree hotel.

Investigation Officer (IO) of the case Ismat Ara Ame, also Inspector of Women Support and Investigation Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), submitted the charge sheet before Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Thursday.

The other accused in the case are  Nayem Ashraf alias Halim, Shadman Sakif, Shafat's driver Billal Hossain and his body guard Rahmat Ali.
