Staff Correspondent: A man named Khorsed Alam has been awarded with death penalty for killing child Abdullah (11) at Mugarchor in Keraniganj.
Judge of No 3 Speedy Trial Tribunal Sayed Ahmed pronounced the verdict on Wednesday noon.
Another man Mehedi Hasan Shamim has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment, Shamim’s sister Mitu one year imprisonment in the case.
Shamim mother, Nasima Begum, has been acquitted from the case.
