Landslides feared in Ctg, Sylhet divisions

Staff Correspondent: Landslides may occur at places over the hilly regions of Sylhet and Chittagong divisions due to heavy to very heavy rainfall, according to met office.

Meteorologist AKM Ruhul Kuddus said that rain may cause landslides in the hilly area of the two divisions in next 24 hours.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at some places over Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Dhaka, Rangpur and Sylhet divisions, said a Met office bulletin on Thursday.
