Death bodies of 26 Rohingyas recovered

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: Law enforcement agencies recovered 26 dead bodies of Rohingya people floating in Naf River of the district's Teknaf upazila from Friday morning to evening.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Teknaf Mainuddin Khan said that 26 bodies of Rohingyas were found floating in the Naf river on different border points from Teknaf till Friday evening.

Of them, three bodies were recovered from Jhimonkhali, 18 from Kharangkhali of Naf river, two from Shahpari Island, three from Khurrermukh of Sabrang and three from Khankar Para, he said.

Earlier 23 Rohingya people were found dead on Thursday and Wednesday.
