BCL leader beaten to death in capital

Staff Correspondent: A leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has allegedly been beaten to death in the capital’s Shekherteck area.

The deceased was Moshiur Rahman Moshu, organizing secretary of Adabar ward unit of BCL.

Police did not be able to arrest any person in this connection till Monday morning.

According to locals, several youths attacked Moshu with road and stick around 10.30pm on a Shekherteck road while he was returning home by a motorcycle.   

He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the duty doctors declared him dead.
