Myanmar envoy summoned again

Staff Correspondent: Myanmar ambassador to Bangladesh Aung Myint has been summoned again to the ministry of foreign affairs on Wednesday.

Myanmar ambassador Aung Myint met with the director general (South-East Asia wing) of the foreign ministry Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury at his office.

The Foreign Ministry handed over a letter expressing concern over the recent happenings, including the fresh entry of Rohingyas into Bangladesh.

The ministry also protested against the laying of landmines so close to the border.
