Report in Farhad Mazhar abduction case Oct 10

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has fixed October 10 for submitting report in the case filed for alleged abduction of  writer, columnist and poet Farhad Mazhar.

Dhaka Metropolitan magistrate Khurshid Alam passed the order as Investigation Officer (IO) of the case failed to submit report on Sunday.

Mahbubul Haque, Inspector of Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP-Mohammadpur Zone), is investigating into the case.

Farhad Mazhar was found in a Hanif Paribahan bus at Abhaynagar in Jessore heading towards Dhaka from Khulna around 11:30pm on July 4, nearly 18 hours after he went mysteriously missing from his capital's Adabor residence.
