Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: A group of diplomats stationed in Dhaka are now visiting Ukhia in Cox's Bazar to see plights of Rohingyas who have taken shelter in Bangladesh amid persecution by the Myanmar authorities.
The diplomats with Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali reached Kutupalong Refugee Camp at Ukhia in Cox's Bazar around 12.00pm.
Over 370000 Rohingyas, mostly women, children and old people, fled violence to seek safety in Bangladesh since August 25 when Myanmar security forces launched attacks on Rohingya Muslims in Rakhine State.
