'ACC to probe allegations against Chief Justice'

Staff Correspondent: Law Minister Anisul Huq said that the 11 allegations raised against Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha will be inquired by Anti Corruption Commission (ACC).
The Minister came up with the assertion while addressing media at his secretariat office on Sunday noon.
He said, “The allegations raised against him needs to be investigated. If there is any truth to the allegations, cases will be filed against him and it will be investigated."
“The action against him will be decided based on the findings of the probe, following legal procedure,” he said.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), if it wishes, can itself conduct the inquiry, Anisul Huq added.
The law minister called the press conference after the Supreme Court on Saturday in a statement said the Chief Justice SK Sinha is going to face 11 specific charges, including money laundering and corruption.
