Staff Correspondent: Dog Squad unit has been added to the existing Airport Armed Police Battalion (APBn) in order to curb smuggling in country's airports.
Airport Armed Police Battalion (APBn) received eight advanced breed dogs in their dog squad.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of APBn Tariq Ahmed said that Four German Shepherd and four Labrador Retrievers arrived at Shahjalal International Airport from United Kingdom on Thursday noon.
The dog squad will work to provide overall security and protect smuggling, he added.
